The Mental Game

This week I'm going to try two different things in our training: I'm going to focus more on my mental preparedness, and I'm going to do more run thrus at different locations.  I need to work on destressing and building my confidence and attitude.  Harley and Teego both need to get to new locations.  I also need to get more sleep and spend more time at home.  So this should all work out well.

For my mental game, I am going to work on focusing on how I WANT things to go, incuding picturing perfect performances during our run.  I'm going to slow down and feel the flow of the routine.  I'm going to work on deep breathing and slowing my heart rate.

I'm also going to work on random sits and random drops around the house.  It can't hurt.

Training note:
Perhaps before St Paul show I should think again about using the dowel for go-outs.  Isn't that what I was doing when she got better last time?  I really should write these things down.
