Fargo 2008

We just got back from Fargo.  I was happy with the way Harley worked this weekend.  It seems that everyone came to Fargo instead of Des Moines this year.......Audrey, Judy Wilson, Claudia, Louise, Jay, Lynn Klingel (with Widget's brother), etc etc.  On Saturday, Harley had beautiful go-outs (which has been our focus this week) but sadly, she missed the down signal.  She worked very nicely in Open and got 2nd with 198 (Audrey won with 199.5).  On Sunday she got her 8th leg towards her UDX3.  She worked very nicely in Utility and got 3rd place with a 196.5, behind Widget and Cash.  She worked nicely again in Open and won a three-way run off for 3rd place with a 197++, again behind Widget and Cash.  She was really working all weekend, and not screwing around.  Unfortunately all that was only worth 2 OTCH points!!  Oh well.  Every point counts, and now we are up to 73.  I was happy with her consistency and good work ethic.

New things to work on this week: Heeling (about turns), keeping attention on finishes, staying back on signals and faster drop on signals
